What do you mean export sorted? From pv? Are you discharing your battery to the grid? Trying to get a SEG tarif?

Darrel_graves can you elaborate more? what are you trying to sort with your export?
As others have already said if your posting for help on the forum. It will help us to help you if you provide much more detail in future.
If you are talking about the G98 DNO approval for installations with 3.68kw inverters or less then upto 28 days following - assuming your installer submitted this.
For G99 applications where your inverter is larger than 3.68kw BUT you are EXPORT RESTRICTED to 3.68kw then this can be submitted AFTER installation and will take around 90days
For G99 applications where your inverter is larger than 3.68kw and you intend to export all extra energy (eg NO EXPORT RESTRICTION) then your installer should have submitted the application BEFORE carrying installation and this would also take 90 days.

The information required will be the same regardless of who you choose to apply for your SEG from.

No it can not. If your installation exceeds 3.68kW capacity, it falls under G99. If you already have a G98 agreement or if you volunteer to limit your export to 3.68kW, your installer can submit a G99 fast track application which are a formality and the DNO will agree to this much quicker but their agreement must be received before the installation is connected to the grid. If you want an export limit in excess of 3.68kW, it is a full G99 application which will require a survey and will take longer.

I don't doubt your installation proceeded without DNO agreement (assuming your installation exceeded 3.68kW), but EXACTLY which paperwork? All the presentations I've seen from DNOs say that DNO agreement is always required but that G98 applications can be done retrospectively.

dragon2905 You are right that a G99 fast track can be submitted retrospectively. I looked up the form you referred to and that is what it says. That’s some learning for me and apologies for being so dogmatic about it.
However, there are a number of conditions which all have to be met. It can’t be used if the total inverter capacity installed exceeds 32A (7.3kW) or if the inverter(s) is/are not compliant with G98 (ie they exceed 16A ac output) and others. Our installation includes two HY5s which are G99 type tested not G98 and therefore a fast track would not have been possible.
I think that the fast track process is way more complex than most of the general public would be able to understand and so our binary positions of “Yes it can”, “No it can’t” were both not right. Perhaps, “it can given certain conditions” is nearer the mark?
Tim I wouldn't presume to comment on your installation and or what the correct application process is. As you already appear to have your approval it's a moot point. Regardless you can draw your own conclusions as to whether it would have been a permissible application route or not.
But worth pointing out that our system uses a GE HY5.0 + 9.5kw Battery all on a dedicated, single, 32A fused circuit.
The ONLY thing I intended was to highlight that there are 3 different application processes.
G98 which applies to 3.68kw Inverters or less and can be applied for AFTER installation (takes upto 28 days)
G99 which applies to greater than 3.678kw Inverters and has to be applied for BEFORE installation (takes upto 90 days +/- depending on DNO) IF YOU INTEND TO EXPORT UNRESTRICTED ENERGY TO GRID
G99 Fast Track which applies to greater than 3.678kw Inverters BUT ARE EXPORT RESTRICTED to 3.68kw or less and can be applied for AFTER installation (takes upto 90 days +/- depending on DNO)
Here is the header from the Generic ENA Engineering Recommendation G99, Issue 1 Amendment 6 2020, G99 A1-2 (Fast Track Application):
Form A1-2 : Application for connection of Fully Type Tested Integrated Micro Generation and Storage installations
For Integrated Micro Generation and Storage installations, this simplified application form can be used where all of the following eligibility criteria apply:• The Power Generating Modules are located in a single Generator’s Installation; • The total aggregate capacity of the Power Generating Modules (including Electricity Storage devices) is between 16 A and 32 A per phase; • The total aggregate capacity of the Power Generating Modules that are Electricity Storage devices do not exceed 16 A per phase and the total aggregate capacity of the Power Generating Modules that are not Electricity Storage devices do not exceed 16 A per phase. Note that if the total aggregated capacity of Electricity Storage and non-Electricity Storage devices is no greater than 16 A per phase, the single premises procedure described in EREC G98 applies; • All of the Power Generating Modules (including Electricity Storage units) are connected via EREC G98 Type Tested Inverters (or EREC G83 Type Tested Inverters, where the Power Generating Module was installed prior to 27 April 2019) • An EREC G100 compliant export limitation scheme is present that limits the export from the Generator’s Installation to the Distribution Network to 16 A per phase; and • The Power Generating Modules will not operate when there is a loss of mains situation.DNOs may have their own forms; refer to the DNO’s websites and online application tools. If the Power Generating Module is registered with the ENA Type Test Verification Report Register, the application should include the Manufacturer’s reference number (the Product ID).
If all the eligibility criteria apply the DNO will confirm that the installation can proceed. The planned commissioning date stated on the application shall be within 10 working days and 3 months from the date the application is submitted.
On completion of the installation the Installer shall submit the commissioning sheets, as required in EREC G100 alongside the EREC G99 forms.
dragon2905 The fourth bullet relates to Type Testing. The HY5 is not type tested to G98, it is type tested to G99 and therefore your installer, made a non-compliant although successful application. It's a moot point though as had he made a full application, it would have been successful anyway, albeit taking longer.
