Hi. There are two tabs at the top of the app screen: Home and Away.
Currently there is a question mark in the home tab, even though it is automatically selected and the app is refreshing every 10 secs as expected.
What does the question mark indicate? It is not interactive.

It usually means that the timestamp on the data it is seeing is too old to display. If people are abroad, in a different timezone, they often see these, because their phone time is an hour or more out, compared to UK time. For the Home option, I am not sure how old the data needs to be, before it gets replaced by the question marks.

Mine seems to show the question mark even when it's updating every 10 seconds.

Have you tried clearing the cache, in the App?

I also have the question mark just before the word …Home", but the app works perfectly, so I ignore it. There is some functionality - if you press and hold on that area, it tells you it is connected, and to which inverter serial number.
Maybe that is what the question mark refers to?

Ah, I thought you meant the question marks which appear in the circles. Sorry. I also have ?Home and that appears to be normal.

I got that but what functionality is there between the "Home" tab and the "Away" tab? I can't establish any difference.

L174559 The functionality is the same but the data source is different. For Away it gets data from the portal so is only at 10 minute granularity; for Home it gets data from the inverter and is updated every 10 seconds.

cluelesscris Have seen several people now referring to portal granularity as 10 minutes. Has it changed for new users? Mine is still at the 5 minutes it always has been.

Woodstock mine is 5, not sure where the 10 came from

Woodstock I stand corrected. Away is checked every 5 minutes not 10. TBH I only use the portal for overall history and never rely on it to know what's going on 'now' so have been mistaken about the 10 minutes from the start. Sorry to mislead the OP.

cluelesscris Thanks I guess the duplication is because the portal came first and then the App was developed?

L174559 The portal has to support every system, dashboard access and app running in Away mode. However, the app only needs to handle data for one inverter and with a local connection can retrieve data as often as possible without affecting anyone else.
