Got my battery setup for timed discharge between 17:00 and 20:00 and also eco discharge so it only takes care of house use but came home tonight to find that the battery discharged itself between 07:30 and 14:00?
Any ideas?

Fat-Les Just search the forum for the answer to your question. It gets asked most days with newbies. It's not your fault that your installer didn't give you the "run through" of how to control the inverter to get what you want.
Fat-Les go to settings, reset all to defaults.
Check eco mode is on
Set your timed charge only, apply
Don't touch timed discharge, doesn't seem to work well
Fat-Les A 2.6kWh battery will not last very long if there is no solar input, unless your power draw is tiny compared to the "norm". So I am not suprised that, even if you were in "Eco" mode, it discharged completely between the times you state. I have 5 times your battery capacity and just now that is flat by midnight if I start using it around 5pm.
But do as Cdent suiggests and see what happens.

I realise the battery is very small but whats the point of having timed discharge when it only fully discharges the battery, also does it at a totally random time.
I bet 90% of owners want timed discharge and eco mode so that the system discharges during the set period but only meets the home demand and not waste energy sending back to the grid.
As a side note i find it hilarious that every kwh we export is no where near the price of what we pay.
I use ECO and timed charged. That's perfect for me.
I don't see much exported to the grid, but with AC there will always be a bit as it has to react to household usage and adjust its output accordingly. It's also only allowed to ramp up or down to a set specification, in order to avoid damaging the grid.
Timed export is for exporting to the grid at the maximum discharge rate as set in the portal. Eco and timed discharge should only met household demand, not pump out at full discharge rates.
Timed discharge and timed export are best used with automation like home assistant, as if you want to capture the sun, into the battery, eco mode needs to be on. Automation allows you to change the modes and more importantly change them back when done.
Fat-Les depends on your export payment provider. If you can get onto Octopus Agile Outgoing you can often be paid more than the standard import rate. I saw above £1/kWh this week on Monday
My eco7 night rate is 12.7p/ unit and even on octopus outgoing fixed I get 15p/unit. So right now I fully charge, and hope for sun. Today generated 15 units, all sent to grid.
My problem with using ECO mode only is that in this mode it starts to discharge at 05:00 in the morning when we're still on cheap rate economy 7.
It's currently set for scheduled discharge (17:00 - 20:00) with the consumption mode set to Home demand which should be ideal but it just doesnt work.
Set a Timed Charge to end at the same time as your Eco 7 cheap period, and set the SOC to the percentage that you want to exit the period at (with just a 2.6 that will probably be 100%). Enable Eco mode.
This will stop the battery discharging in the cheap period and minimise both import and export as much as possible. With just a 2.6 battery though you will find that the battery will soon be depleted though.
Timed Discharge just doesn't appear to work very well.
Alternatively, if you aim is to only use the battery when the grid is most heavily loaded, then extend the end of the Timed Charge to the start of the period when you want to discharge the battery at. Make sure Eco is also enabled.
This will hold your battery charge until the Timed Charge period ends. Eco mode will then kick in and use the battery to power the house load as much as possible for however long the battery charge lasts for.
