Fresh install of Solar, Inverter, and 9.5kWh battery and need help setting up the right modes.
Normally, I schedule the EV charging for the cheap rates between 00:30 and 04:30
What I want to do is maintain ECO mode so the battery reduces the demand on the grid at all other times.
What I find is happening - ECO mode recognises the increased demand when I charge the EV and basically fully discharges into the car each time I charge it.
This leaves me with battery close to zero and then pulling from the grid the next morning depending on solar generation.
What I really want to do is have the battery charge between 00:30 and 04:30 (especially in winter) to make use of the cheap rate as much as possible.
Then outside these times run in normal ECO mode.
I do not want the battery discharging into the EV when it is charging.
I think I could do this IF ECO mode was able to have a time period set like the other modes, but I cannot see an option to set this.
I hope I am making sense, and someone can help me with a solution
Thanks
