Scheduled discharge mode not working

I'm trying to set a discharge period between 17:00 and 19:00 to avoid grid use and claim rebate. However the battery continues to dynamically discharge. Any ideas?

Have a search of the forum for other threads on the same topic. There's been some in the last few days.

Why not leave it on Eco for the saving period? It does what you need - minimises grid draw (in my case reduces it to zero).

Has given me the required results for all 5 saving sessions to date.

wilfleek where is 'eco', I can't seem to find it

On the portal, expand the inverter card, then click on settings, then eco, then enable, and check you get a green acknowledgement message. Also check you have disabled any other settings.
To make things easier, you could click on " reset to defaults" which will clear any other settings, then enable eco.

If you're taking part in the saving sessions or schemes of similar names, it may be worth topping up your battery before the session, so you've got enough left during it - to avoid grid use.

If you don't usually use much power in the afternoons, you should end up getting paid more for the energy you use, than it costs you to use it.

This is what the grid have called the in day adjustment. It's a three hour period that starts 4 hours before the saving session and ends 1 hour before. So Mondays just gone was 1pm-4pm for a 5pm start.

Energy use between those times is compared with the same timespan on the previous 10 week days (excluding I believe saving session days).

I think it was designed to account for weather differences and other such factors.

Having invoked the battery diascharge setting to scheduled, I'm having a similar issue to IanTC. Wilfleek, implies that the eco mode is on on the cloud website (portal) only, why isn't it in the app?
I will be investigating the portal later.

As a general rule I regard most of the app functionality as 'information' - and having had the same problem as described in the first post I use the portal login to make changes to anything to do with time.
Incidentally, the app is happy to sit and not refresh a given view - so navigating away and returning, or refreshing the view is essential to see if changes made on the portal have propagated.

I still find the battery won't discharge to a set time schedule.
