I have a number of 'Check Connection On Battery' warnings on my inverter. It's been happening since day one but is getting more frequent. It is random and doesn't appear to be happening at any particular time. It clears after a 5 or 10 minutes time slot.

I doesn't seem too impact it's use but I'd like to be re assured it isn't an issue.

I have written to my installer and I am still waiting for a response.

mjkelly5a Have you emailed GE support too?

Email GE support to check in the first instance but mines the same every now and then.

Believe its normally down to a timeout between battery and inverter receiving data which on its own is not a problem if its only ocassional - but if it's happening say 20 times a day then it's the sign of an issue (if/when you run the local control stuff in future you occasionally get no response to data requests every now and then as its busy doing something else at the time - just a quirk of the system.)

Hi, I am having the same. GE support emailed the following back:

"You can ignore these, it's an alarm not linked to anything currently that will randomly pop up."

That notification error is a impedance alarm trigger which I believe does not yet link to any actual error as it's not been built into the firmware yet. Don't worry about it for the time being.
