Incorrect Power usage shown, has anyone noticed or reported this?

On the legacy portal and the equivalent on the Beta they report Energy Consumed from grid incorrectly if you have more than one Inverter installed. The same occurs on Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly reports.

It appears that both the daily monitored incoming electricity values from each Inverter are being added together, which is simply wrong. Each inverter will read the same incoming electricity from the grid and only a single reading is needed to report accurately what is happening for a customer. I know this is what is happening as I can see the actual electricity used daily, weekly, monthly and yearly on our IHAD6 monitor linked to the SMIT2 meter, and also from readings taken form the meter itself.

It is very frustrating that the GIVENERGY applications and reports are not reporting accurately.

The daily, weekly and yearly reports via email are also mismatched on the PV generation front compared to the beta portal data.

I've not checked the consumed, battery throughput etc figures.

Raised a ticket via the beta portal for it but it was over Christmas so don't expect a response just yet.

On the plant systems it is something that has been noticed and raised, we do have a fix coming for the energy calculations for dual systems with shared RS485 however this is to come with inverter firmware, we should have it out soon.

thanks for your reply previously, would you advise if "fix coming for the energy calculations for dual systems with shared RS485 however this is to come with inverter firmware" is available yet? Also is the firmware update automatically applied to the inverters or do we need to request our installer to do the update?

AJSki2fly Good luck with this, we've been asking for this fix since having the system installed in October...

I've just started looking at the reports and have noticed a discrepancy between grid useage as recorded by the meter 2439 and the import figure in the annual report - 2097
Any Idea why this should be?
(I have a/c coupled inverter)

Your guess is as good as mine, I have been trying to evaluate if our newly installed system, 2 inverters and 2 batteries, is working correctly or not for the past 2 weeks. All I have been able to ascertain is that the reports, online portals(old and beta) are unreliable report inaccuracies, I have also seen that power is being exported to the grid when actually it should be stored in one of the batteries. All very dissatisfactory! I am taking the matter up with my installer and asking him to get GivEnergy to address it properly.
