I would like to change the MQTT Day, Night, Export Rates that are sent out from my AC3.0. The rates are wrong and I can’t find anywhere on the dashboard or in the app to change these. Has anyone else worked out how or where to change them?
I’m using Home Assistant and have edited them in the Config of GIVtcp, however they do not update.
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks
MQTT Day, Night, Export Rates
AndyD Are you running GivTCP as an addin to HA or in a separate docker container?

Use the Smart Tariff Card in the web portal to find your tariff and everything should fall into place for display in the portal and in the Givenergy App. If you can't find your supplier/tariff in the Smart Tariff Card, set them manually.
If you really do mean the rates in the MQTT message which is sent out by the inverter responding to a Givtcp call, then it is the Givtcp config that needs updating. Try stopping and restarting the add in, or container if using docker. These rates aren't actually sent out by or stored in the inverter, they are added by the Givtcp package as are other things such as SoC in kWh.
How do I set it manually? I'm now getting the Agile Outgoing but not the Economy 7.

Thanks for the options. I’ve tried the smart tariff for a few days now and still no change. I’ve also changed / set the day rates etc in the GIV TCP Config, rebooted the Add on and no change.
Fixed it.
I stopped the add on, SSL’ed to the back of HA and renamed the rateData_1.pkl to Old_rateData1.pkl so it couldn’t find it. Restarted the add on and it reproduces it from the add on Config.
So it’s now working. It’s odd because the other bits I’ve changed in the Config were updating, just the rates weren’t.
When you do this you loose the day costs so far, but I assume it’ll accumulate as the day goes on.
