Scheduled discharge to the grid

If I schedule an export to the grid, I assume the house will be powered by solar, with any excess also going to the grid, since the battery is discharging, as well as the battery exporting at maximum discharge rate.
If there is no solar will

• the battery will power the house first with the rest, up to its maximum discharge rate going to the grid.
  Or
• the battery will export at full rate, with the house powered by the grid.
  I just want to make sure there will be no grid use if possible.

BarleyRiser the first of these... You can't import and export at the same time.

stevelewis with no solar neither would involve charging the battery, only discharging, but which would happen?

The battery will export at full rate. The house will use some of it. No grid import will happen. Pretty sure it's impossible to both import to and export from the grid at the same time.
