Battery "idle" stopped discharging -

Hi, my battery registers 80% full but won't discharge and 3.5kw being drawn from the grid. I can't seem to get battery to resume discharging - ideas/help??? Thanks!

Justfish have you tried restarting the inverter through the portal or resetting to default?

Where are the inverter controls on the portal ?

Justfish go to the myinverter card and expand it. If you click the on/off button it will restart the inverter. If you scroll across via the arrows to settings you can then scroll through these to get to a reset to default.

If resetting to default you will need to reset any timed charge settings as it will change settings back to solar only charge

Justfish if you go into the web portal, it should be the third card down?

Excuse my ignorance but is the givenergy app the web portal? It's the only interface I'm aware of.

Justfish No there is a very comprehensive web portal. You can access from the Giv website under services

Smk82 Many thanks for sharing this post. I had a new system installed last week and the battery was stuck at 100% and not discharging. Couldn't find anything to solve it and didn't know about the reset option. Just reset it and now its working as designed. Thank you!
