Getting a 9.5 Battery installed shortly and just trying to prep the position it will be in. Does anyone have a link to docs, or be able to measure how far off the ground the bracket needs to be, when the battery is sitting on the ground?

The battery can sit on the floor if required. The main reason to keep it off the ground is to stop any flood damage I believe. Battery installation instructions can be found online.
Does the battery not still fit onto the bracket when sitting on the floor, to stop it possibly toppling over?
Ours just sits on a concrete floor and is completely stable.
Andy C pretty sure they have to be fixed to the wall even if they're sitting on the floor.
On a slight tangent does anyone know how far the 9.5 battery and DC inverter can be from the (Solis) inverter for the panels - having a 9.5 battery fitted Friday and ideally it would be about 2m away and 1m down from the existing set up. Not sure if the battery kit comes with standard length cables on the 9.5 and cant find the info anywhere. I'll find out either way in three days though!

Not sure if this helps - but my Givenergy kit is about 6m from the consumer unit and SolarEdge inverter a further 15m from the consumer unit. The 'standard' cables that came with the inverter battery combination were supplemented by whatever the electricians brought on installation.

The Givenergy supplied kit was inverter, dongle, battery (plus fittings), and a cable to connect battery to inverter. I think the cable is 1 to 1.5m long but didn't see it before it was tucked away.
The installer brought meters for grid and solar CT (co-located with the consumer unit); data cable to connect CTs (one cable carries four connections); 240V power cables; external isolator (which is mandated for exterior batteries); RCD/switch for consumer unit; conduit/trunking. I also had an EPS which meant more power cables; RCD/isolator; twin socket box; earth rod.
Getting the dongle to play ball with the WiFi network is the trickiest bit I had to deal with. That dongle radio isn't what I would call 'bright' but a repeater fixed that issue. Givenergy commissioning via chat is better in January than by phone in September last year (I've had two systems).

x5toledo Thanks - I didn't check if the dongle was included (I had to order my own Solis one for the solar inverter) hopefully all will go according to plan.
Does anyone who has a 9.5 Battery installed floor mounted with the bracket have install photos? Or maybe could just measure how far off the floor the bracket starys?
I have 9.5 battery installed on the floor without brackets, i was told it's 100 % to have it installed like this and to be honest never had a problem at all
My installer insisted my 8.2's sat on the floor in the wall bracket. "not worth the risk"

Ditto. My 2 X 8.2s are at floor level but are mounted in the brackets.
These batteries are heavy. But that doesn't mean that the potential from them getting pulled over doesn't exist. A battery of this weight would do a lot of damage if it toppled over onto someone.
