Hello everyone, I have seen an issue with my batteries getting full within few mins from 4-5% to 100% and it happens only sometimes.. suspect a bug here but anyone else seen this problem?

Singhse9 SOC issue, there is a massive thread on it and a lot of testing going on to resolve it.

Happened to me as well today from 30% to 100%. No becouse of that I'm loosing nice drops of sun. It is 2nd time in 2mc period. I'm let it go this time but if it happend again I will officially reported to givenergy as multifunction and made guarantee clame. Then if it keep repeating I'll request exchange for new unit without fault.
This is unacceptable becouse if its keep happening that or something to your phone I'm sure everyone will send it for guarantee.
Or if its happend to your £60k electric car I'm sure next day you will be in shop for repair.

this has happened to me several times. The general cycle for me at this time of year, i.e not enough sun to charge the battery to any sensible amount. I think there is a factory setting for a boost charge to 4% from zero or 1% on a cycle if the system detects there is not sufficient charge in the battery, then every 13 to 14 days the battery charge goes immediately to 100% then drains on an as you load it basis I have not seen an equal output of 9.5kw approx from my mains meter to match . I am guessing the system gives the battery a trickle charge over two weeks as a programmed battery maintenance ensuring the battery is put through its paces at least once every 2 weeks.

HipHopAst Why let it go, why not report it? If they don't get complaints it will never go up the priority list, and if it is on their priority list why is it not showing in "Known issues"

This is what happened to mine the other day, when i checked the batteries were definitely 100% charged and discharged properly over the next night and day until the sun came out again, looking at the export on my smart meter it seems the Givenergy app is logging some of the flow to the battery as export ?
