Just wondered if the hive mind would be able to help on some weird battery charging we've been seeing with our battery?
During the day we've been happily charging the batteries (2x 9.5) and then for no apparent reason the energy is dumped to the grid even though the batteries are no where near full. I've attached a screen shot of this from yesterday.
Any ideas as to why this may be happening? 🤔🤞
snewland These are intermittant and can be misleading. The numbers shown are peak not total. Thy also show snapshots every feew minutes - so peaks may be for very short periods when the inverter is ramping in response to gneration changes. If a cloud goes over and generation drops out it may show transient export when the cloud passes and the inverter is ramping up charge. You should check how much total power is being exported (best use your smart meter for this but the app/portal will do). My guess is that it will be a very small amount.
