Can anyone help, my GIV system we have installed for a customer is behaving unexpectedly.
It either charges or discharges irrelevant to consumption or solar generation. I need it to charge off the solar and discharge when there is demand, None of the settings seem to help.
Right now the battery is set up in eco mode, in scheduled mode 00:00 - 00:00 on based on home demand

It sounds like you only need Eco mode on and everything else off.

So its set up in eco mode for the charge settings only, and the discharge settings is set to scheduled based on consumption. I've tried dynamic but neither seem make a difference.

AESSmartMetering Eco covers both charge and discharge. It means charge on excess solar and feed house when demand requires it. The only other one you might need is a timed charge if the customer has access to cheap overnight electricity but that setting can be used in conjunction with eco.

So its set to ECO Mode, Everything else is off, its still discharging fully ad exporting 3.9kW instead of charging on excess solar. 🙁

If it's a brand new installation it will first run a calibration and empty to the grid and then refill from the grid. This cannot be stopped.

AESSmartMetering Got to be brutal here, I'm absolutely amazed that an installer wouldn't know this.

Are you setting up via the App? You don't have to put in times if you set up in the portal - just switch it to ECO and let it go. If you are using the app I'm wondering if it is linked to the times you have put in. Essentially your start and stop times are the same so ECO can never get going. The app is confusing cos it uses a 12 hour clock. Try setting 12.01am to 11.59pm .I did a similar thing when charging and completely messed up and charged during peak time instead of off-peak

judgepd when I have eco on and timed charge 0100-0800 to 70% the battery ends up 100%
Tried turning eco off but it keeps turning back on
Could it be a clash between app and portal as eco is not available on app
