Controlling battery charge/discharge on the android app.

Hi,
My GivEnergy solar & battery installation went live 4 days ago and up until yesterday I had a settings button on the battery page of the Givenergy android app, so I was able to adjust charge and discharge times and where the battery charges from.
Yesterday, when I looked at the app first thing in the morning I noticed that the settings button had disappeared!
The only way I can alter the battery settings is on the cloud.
Has anyone else had this problem and/or know why it's happened and how to sort it?

go to 3 bars top left of app
go to settings
go to preferences
turn on "show quick settings button"

that should do it

Also enable system modes

The App tends to be a bit flakey, with things being turned off and odd at random times. I usually have the Quick Settings Button turned off, but every now and then it reappears, without me asking for it.

In general, it is advised that the web portal should be used rather than the App., for making changes to your settings, but of course the App. will sometimes just be easier - just be careful!

Is there somewhere on the web portal similar to the quick set buttons on the app, or is it just the modes to get the battery to charge etc

SteveCook I think the short answer to that is no, but once you have build up some confidence, the settings on the portal probably give you more flexibility.

Thanks, just spent 20 minutes trying to figure this out - the docs here https://kb.givenergy.cloud/article.php?id=68 just show that button. I don't really understand why you'd want to turn it on or off, but feels like something that should be on by default.
