Hi, Just wondered if others have the same issue. My battery is charging but only about 200w, the rest(some 2.5kw) is exporting. I dont understand why its exporting when the battery isnt full? Am i doing something wrong or have i missed a setting?
Export V Charge
Is the battery very empty or almost full? It might be slower then.
If it's not that, then perhaps we need more details of what you've got and what is happening, maybe some screenshots etc to help us help you!
Kendrick814 Please post an image of your flows graph from the portal this will allow us to see what is happneing from several apsects and maybe help you understand what is going on.
i will do when i catch it again. i have 2 x 2.6kw batteries btw.
Its not really doing it at the moment but even still, im exporting, and using my battery which seems counter productive.
generating 775w, consuming 330w, discharging 52w and exporting 445w at the moment.
Trying to work out how to post a picture as its only giving me image links rather than an upload option.
Kendrick814 Don't get twitched by values that don't make sense "in the moment". Look at the graphs over several hours and (hopefully) you'll see that when the inverter output changes in response to load changes, it takes a finite time to match the demand. The surplus or deficit is seen in the moment as an unexpected import or export. The app updates every ten seconds and the portal every ten minutes, so the power figures are very unlikely ever to add up correctly.
The new inverter firmware is reported to respond even quicker than the current firmware (1-2 seconds rather than 10-20) but that the overshoot (balancing import/export) is greater and that the net result is that over a long period, there is the same amount of energy imported/exported as a result of inverter response to load changes.
Thanks Tim. I will look at the data over the weekend.
