Is there a way to monitor individual panels performance?

SolarEdge systems do this. Not sure about any others.

Tigo make some aftermarket optimisers that will also give you panel performance as well as adapting for shading.

If you can get to the panels it looks like the install is very simple to do the TS4-A-0 one seems to cover monitoring and optimisation and the system is designed to work with any inverter that is plugged on the end.

I've been looking at them to retrofit as I'm losing a lot of generation from my lower string due to sun tracking and shading at this time of year.

pjb904 You will need to have optimisers fitted and SolarEdge inverter provides that option. This allows you to see potential problems with individual panels but also maximises generation where a single panel is shaded at certain part of the day. In my case my own chimney does partially shade 1-2 panels early afternoon, reducing generation by as much as 10% (NB. The panels are REC Alpha Black which are half-cut cell design, allowing half of the panel to generate whilst the other half is shaded).

I have Tigo optimisers fitted at time of install. You get power, energy and reclaimed energy (i.e. the extra that the optimiser has salvaged for you) for each panel, with a 15 minute sampling frequency.

BarbaraG I got Tigo optimisers fitted at install but don’t recall any information about how to access the data. Do you have any pointers you can share? Thank you.

You need the Tigo CCA cloud connect installed to monitor individual panels
