I had my 9.5 battery installed last month and have noticed since install that starts charging from the grid at 11.30pm despite being set to charge at 12.30am-4.30am.

I had thought this might be due to it calibrating itself but it was installed on 3/1 so I doubt this is the case.

I thought it might be a time error, thinking it was on BST but I've synced the time and set the battery to charge at 1.30am - 5.30am but it still starts charging around 11.30pm.

I'm a total novice at this so does anyone have an idea why it's doing this?

Thanks.

Not heard of this

I take it your on a tariff that's cheaper at this time

When looking at your battery see the switch on the left, use that to reset the battery

Leave it off for 2 mins then turn on

Check settings have not reset, see how that goes mate

PFenwick To just reset your system.

On the Portal go to 'My Inverter' > 'Settings' > 'Reset To Defaults' > Click 'Submit'
Make sure you get a positive acknowledgement, if not, try again. Then:
Check the settings, go through each one in turn:
ECO should be 'Enabled', if it isn't enable it and click 'Submit'. All of the others should show as 'Disabled.
Go to 'Timed Charge', Enable it and set the Start & End time you want.
Make sure Charge to 100% is set then Click Submit (make sure you get a positive acknowledgement).
