In my Inverter settings on my PC I have the timed charge set to 90%. However, within the timed period I wanted to change this to 100%. Being away from home, I increased the setting on my mobile but this didn't take effect.
Was the PC setting taking precedent over the android mobile. Not sure till I return home, but I may be logged on via PC and mobile simultaneously?

Mobile app or mobile accessing the beta portal?

I wouldn't expect being logged in to both PC and mobile to be an issue. There may be some issues with display of settings but if you make a change using any method it should work - you just might not see it if you're looking using another method. Are you sure it didn't take effect, or could it just be a display issue? Read the register for the charge limit using remote control on the beta portal (or GivTCP) to confirm. Another possibility is that the API call from the phone didn't succeed (but I think that should have popped up a message to say it didn't work)

DIG What do you mean by "didnt take effect"? Do you mean it didnt work or that the web portal didnt reflect the change?

The settings are actually on the inverter. The app talks straight to the inverter so always sees the latest values. The web uses caching so if you change another way e.g. app, GivTCP etc then you may need to force the portal to refresh its values

There is no issue or priority between the presentation methods. The last one to submit a change, makes the change. What they show depends on if cached or not.

Thanks for all your comments.
I set the next days charge rate to 90% on my windows laptop.
However, whilst the battery charging was taking place, at approx 40%, I decided it should have been set to 100%.
As I was away from home, using the android app, I upped the setting to 100%.
The battery charge stopped at 90% though.
I am new to all this, so perhaps I was just operator error!!
Will see if I can replicate.
Thanks

Have you tried using the beta portal on your phone? It does work and adjusts to the smaller size. I just changed my charging settings and it was an OK experience.not great but certainly usable

The app has had no updates for months. The Beta portal has had many. Recently they were on comms making it much quicker and reliable.

The app is really slow for settings. It should still work but if the beta portal works on mobile do you need it? Using a single interface eliminates potential causes of your issue.
Maybe try that if you still have a negative result in your testing of the app

So it does. As you say, better than the app too. 😄

I must not have been accessing the Beta portal as every time I tried to connect I received message to link with a PC.
Now getting same results as on PC.
Thanks for steering me in the right way.
