Is there a way to link IFTTT to my givenergy account? Just had mine installed (by Octopus) last week and all is looking good so far. I’d like to be able to use IFTTT to turn things on and off based on battery percentage or solar generation amount (e.g. tado a/c control). I can see there’s a link with octopus agile (so octopus prioritise the battery charging dependent on price?), but I was considering this new flux tariff.
aniseedvan no IFTTT control as yet (not sure if ever), but a lot of us use Home Assistant or Node-RED to automate stuff
Cdent Both Node red and Home Assistant can work with IFTTT.

Cdent Which is why I no longer use IFTTT. I topped almost as soon as the 'corporate greed' started!

Cdent I originally stayed away from HA and just used MQTT and Node red for everything. That is until I put in GE battery and needed finer control. SpeakToTheGeek is what persuaded me to try again and I really don't regret it. HA has moved on a lot in the last few years and seems to be accellerating. If you want finer control of your GE system then givTCP is a must. HA is maturing into a terrifc automation tool to bring lots of disparate smart devices together. Definitely worth the effort. Don't be put off by the seeming need for YAML - the constantly moving forward UI is rapdily hiding YAML from all but the most persistently 'clever' users.
cluelesscris completely agree, I've included all my LightwaveRF stuff, Nest, Blink and others and have got a few automations involving them all going on. Easy once you do some research
