This evening I can't seem to connect my app to the system in order to set it to charge via E7
We've just taken delivery of a new home hub, is that likely to have had an impact?
We have had a new home hub. Do we need to do anything to the pv/battery system?
Marksykes Maybe. Have you tried the web portal instead?

I thought I had reset the charge times last night, but on looking this morning there was only 3% charge in the battery!

Is the new home hub ( a bt router I assume) installed? If so you'll need to make sure you have connected the dongle to its wi-fi.
The essiest method I used was to change the "home Hub" SSID and password to the same as your old one. Then you haven't got to go round the house changing all your wi-fi connected equipment to point to the new hub.
Stevef1964 that makes sense, although my IT skills are very basic so I have zero idea how to change the home password or to connect the dongle!!!
But I can look those up.
Thank you
(Plusnet hub btw, which is another issue altogether 😂😂)

Marksykes Mark, the SSID is the network name of the hub. You see it when you look to connect your phone to pick up a wi-fi connection.
If my memory serves me right the plusnet hub are the same as the BT ones. (Plusnet has been owned by BT for a while now)
If you go into the hub from your PC via your web browser (Chrome, firefox, IE etc) you can then go to "advance settings". You'll need the admin password which is on a little plate of the rear of the hub.
You should then be able to see the hub name and wi-fi password sections to change. Change them to the onces of your old hub. Once done all your other home devices (TV, pc's playstations, Hive, Alexa etc) should just connect back up without you having to do anything, because they already have the details of your old hub.
It's probably going to be a lot easier doing it this way than getting into the dongle.
I'm sure any teenager will do it without blinking!!!
