My newly installed 9.52kWh battery pack’s status lamp is glowing red. My understanding is that it should be glowing green. However, the battery pack appears to be functioning properly. Can anyone help, please?

As advised by GivEnergy first line technical support, I turned the battery off and then back on again. The Status lamp glowed green for about 30 seconds before turning (and remaining) red again. That action appears to have generated a "Bus Over Voltage" notification. Does that help clarify what the fault might be?
If this is a new install, I suspect you may need to get your installer out to check everything over. Do you see a voltage for your battery?
I'm not an installer, but I am wondering if there is a high resistance somewhere (i.e. poor connection between the battery and inverter, perhaps), which is causing a voltage drop. This, in turn, may cause the inverter to push up the charging voltage beyond its normal operating limits.
GE is not great at publishing proper descriptions for its error codes, so I suspect that their service engineers are the only ones who can really interpret the codes, to understand what underlying issues cause them to be flagged.
Thanks for responding. Unfortunately my installer does not always tell me the truth! He suggested the red status lamp would be rectified by the next software upgrade.
Battery voltage varies between 52 volts and 55.5 volts.
That sounds like pure BS!
A previous post suggests it may be poor termination of the DC cables, which could be at either end, or at the DC isolator switch (if you have one). Heat will be generated at the offending spot, so a thermal camera can help, if you have access to one.
Have a look at the data for the invertrr, in the portal, and see if the time of the error corresponds with any paryicularly high voltage values.
I can't remember if 55.5V is beyond what is normal, or not. Anyone else?
The battery voltage dropped to 40.52V at the time of the error but was back to 53.36V five minutes later when the error cleared. Wouldn't this be to do with me turning the battery off at that time?

Ged Possobly. Difficult to know without looking at your 5 minute hostorical data....
My suspicion would also be a loose connection on the DC side - probably in the DC isolator. Exactly the same fault I had - cured with 2 minutes of screwdrivering!

Ged this sounds for sure a loose connection.
Either at the inverter, less likely.
Or the DCMCB, clamped the plastic rather than the copper.

Then check DCMCB terminals for this
Then check inverter screws, crimps and then finally the battery end.
A bad crimp is just as bad as a bad screw clamp

I just had one (very) loose termination in the DCMCB - just needed tightening up. Been perfect ever since.
TheDragon (GivEnergy) my GE engineer showed me that exact clamping fault. (Done at previous visit by his colleague)

Ged He might not be lying this time. I had a red light issue and GivEnergy told me that it would resolve with a firmware update. They re-installed the current firmware and the issue cleared.
Note: this is only the case if there are no warning notifications
He wasn't lying! The red status lamp cleared following the subsequent firmware upgrade!
