Dual 3.0 plant installed and working.

I am very happy that my new inverter has finally been linked to the old inverter ( 4 days ) and it now responds as one 'plant'.

I am seeing none of the reported issues with one inverter discharging more than the other, and none of the issues of excess export to grid.

It is working like a dream.

Meaning I can boil a kettle or cook dinner without hitting the grid!

I am really very happy right now.

anabanet Good news! Do you have the same data discrepancy in the portal as those others of us who have a plant of two or more inverters?

This is something I need but I’m struggling to find any schematics or wiring drawings to show how it is setup and my installer isn’t sure himself it will work seemlessly

Topham Best bet is to install as a completely separate setup off its own trip switch. Then the OUTPUT from the meter box that is already installed is used to feed the inverter on the second install.

The 'plant' is then configured by Givenergy to work as a single unit.

The 'trick' is that the install shares the single CT off the mains and the single meter.

SO you would buy everything again except the meter and ct, and you would share this from the existing installation.

Givenergy tried setting mine up last week as 1 plant but struggling to do it, not sure if the wiring is correct from the EM115's. Can you get any pics of the wiring?

anabanet Mine has 2 EM115, ID1 is grid clamp and ID2 is solar clamp. Drawing then shows them in parallell, is that correct?
