Can anyone explain why I am exporting so much and my battery is charging at such a slow rate. Is it a setting issue?
If you look at the attached screenshot the battery is charging at 733w and we are exporting at 2.4kW which in my mind should be going to the battery not back to the grid.

Mikie711 have you set the charge power to a lower value? Is this a new install or one that's been working fine until now?

have you set invertor to 'eco' mode in settings?

Cdent also, the portal is a snapshot in time up to 5 minutes ago, it's not live. What does the app say when connected locally?

This could jus be a 'snapshot' view, as the sun comes out, and the charger starts to react.
But if this is happening constantly then more investigation may be required.
First thing to do is to check the charging limit which you have in the settings (use the App or the Portal).
Can you post an image of the main energy graph from the Portal, as that will help others to help you? Like this:
(Use the 'Upload' function to insert an image)

Turns out it's software issue. Re-booted the system and checked in the app and the battery charge jumped to 100%.
An inverter re-start can be the solution to many issues with a GE system....

I had the same thing happen yesterday. 32% - 65% - 100% in 10 minutes

We are trying to charge our battery from the grid but it is only pulling in 500w and that seem as to be purely from the panels. How can we force a charge from the grid?

In the app settings you can set it to charge from solar + grid and set a time period for when you want it to charge from the grid, otherwise it will just from solar outside those hours.
