Hi, I'm trying to find a report showing (say) 3 months daily data of the battery %age just before I start the overnight top up, so I can better adjust the amount I charge up. I can see it day by day but was wondering if I could get a historical report? Any help gratefully accepted.

click on reports from the webpage (portal) and select the period you want. ignore all the data you don't want.

positor1 thanks for your reply positor1, however that just provides summary information, I’m looking for something like the downloads you can get for daily totals that provide raw data numbers.

The Givenergy API may be your best best bet for this.

hoggy thanks for your reply. How do I use that API please, I’ve no idea what it is, or where it’s located.

idrobbo Portal - FAQ - Last item, or here.

Tim thanks for that. I’ve not used such programming languages so I think I will leave it there. I was hoping for something a little more user friendly within the portal itself, much like I download the daily 5 minute data sets.

idrobbo If you put your daily data downloads into a spreadsheet, that should work. Don't forget that you can change the date for your downloads at the top of the page.

idrobbo For a good feel with a mix of the 'Solar Power Forecast', your knowledge of the household typical usage pattern before solar becomes available should give a pretty good indication of what you need to set the Timed Charge percentage to for tomorrow. Depends on the size of your battery.

Tim I download 4-5 days data regularly but that doesn’t show the level of the battery at those times, unless there’s a different report I’m not accessing. I enlarge the Energy Graph tile in the portal & download each day from that, if I do the same to Power Graph I can’t see how to download that. Sorry if this seems dumb, I’ve searched quite a bit.

SilverArt yes, see what you’re saying, and that is pretty much what I try to do, I was just trying to look back for some additional data to help my analysis.

idrobbo If you want to look back then the 'Reports' , third up from the bottom of the blue menu bar, gives good visuals and I think shows that the historic doesn't really help with tomorrow due to the significant variations at this time of year.
I think that once you have confidence in the Solar Power Forecast being reliable/accurate you should be able to minimise the import by varying the 'Timed Charge' charge to % target based on your normal non solar usage pattern.
Good luck.
