Surely when the sun is out, my panels are producing 3Kwh and my battery is at 4% it should be getting charged.
But no, instead I'm exporting to the grid.
Can anyone tell me why?

Why is my inverter exporting to the grid when battery is idle at 4%

bill this is from the portal, which is a snapshot in time up to 5 minutes ago. What does the app say when connected in Home mode?
Start by trying to re-start the inverter software, from the Portal. That often kicks 'stalled' inverters back into action.
Why does it happen? Who knows.......not even GE I suspect.
Cdent TBH, I've no idea how to go into "home mode". I searched on the app but there's nothing obvious.
The app should say Home & Away on the top of the main screen. The Home tab updates every 10 seconds or so if you're on the same wifi network as the inverter. The Away tab and the dashboard are every 5 minutes or so.
CalvinDouglas Thanks! I was viewing from my home computer - not my phone - which is why I couldn't see the home & away buttons!
The screen shot I took was therefore in "home" mode.

bill that's not an image of the app on your phone though, that's the web portal which is on 5 minute updates. the app looks like this
