Does anyone know which RT values on an Octopus EDMI smart meter correspond with peak, day and night import and export values.
I want to check actual meter readings against Octo download data values.
The GE smart tariff data seems to match how the system is setup and operating.
I have asked Octo 3 times on email and no reply!

There is a section for EDMI meters if you scan down the page. It says it is for how to take two readings (like for ECO 7), but if you get to point 6 and keep pressing the arrow it might show you more readings. Then it's a case of boiling a kettle at different times to see which one goes up. I guess the same principle would apply if you already know how to take an export reading, but this time just force a small timed export in each of the periods?
I seem to remember reading somewhere, that Octopus do not use the registers in the smart meters. Instead they simply use the time slots to assign usage to the appropriate rates.

Interesting. I have the same issue with EDF. My smart meter appears to have only import and export registers, no time of use registers. The meter posts import (but not export) to DCC at 30 minute summary which is being used by EDF to work out my bill based on time of use. The issue I have is that the fuss made many years ago about rolling out smart meters had consumer information near the front. The In Home Display was meant to drive behaviours of reducing energy consumption and they can still do this if you are using it as a Wattmeter. But if you want to use it as a £/hr meter, then the time of use tariff is essential.
I download my 30 minute summaries from DCC so I can work out my bill as EDF only bill me twice per year, but it'd be really useful to be able to check the data against the meter and see the consumption in the IHD as both energy and money.

Yes I have tried that and gave up after RT1 & RT2 had numbers but by the time I got to RT10 and everything else was blank I did not bother.
ToothyChris Weird! I have ECO 7 and get numbers on 2 registers. I've checked and they are equivalent to peak and off peak import. I have Agile export and so they must use the half hourly readings to calculate that, although I can see from the smart meter the total amount exported.
At last I got a bit of a long winded reply from Octo but it still did not answer the direct question of "can I read my smart meter to check transmitted data".
Basically the answer is no and that the DCC collects all the data and if you want to check your bill then you just have to belive the data.
SteveCook one option is to sign up to Bright who can link in directly with the DCC to get your data. Should be an app available to do this

The point is was trying to make is I can't physically check it on my meter and/or record it with a photo
