Ok I have successfully connected my givenergy system to the go tariff. Now I have the opposite problem I cant disconnect it. Even with all the charge options disabled my battery charges to 100% every morning on the go tariff. How do I stop it? :-#
Swap it to solar only? The it will only recharge from your pV
Slinger You would need to disable the tariff automation if you have set it. The Go tariff is pretty simple with only one cheap period so you can set your system to use it in a more flexible way:
Disable and remove all tariff automations (tariff panel)
My Inverter panel | Settings | Reset to defaults
My Inverter Panel | Settings | Enable ECO
My Inverter Panel | Settings | Timed Charge | Enable and set from and to to match Go cheap period
This will set up everything pretty much the same as the tariff automation except you can now control much charge the battery gets overnight by using the % slider in the timed charge or even stop it charging at all.
If you also want your washing machine, say, to use the cheap period power then just set it to run during the timed period and it will use cheap grid alongside battery charging.
I had a similar issue when I first got my system. I disabled Tariff Automations as per the above post. Putting in the times manually in the Timed Charge section works fine. I'm not sure how the Automations setting is supposed to work, but it seemed broken to me so I've never used it since.

Yeah. I have no idea what functionality that setting is meant to bring. It's clearly for newbies, but it seems broken and confusing.
