Unable to connect to home, keep getting local search failed?

are you at home on your local wifi?

I get this as well. At home on my local WiFi. If I close the "Local Search Failed" message and then click the 'Home' button, the app tells me that "You need to be connected to WiFi to enable the home feature". Which is nonsense as my phone is always connected.

Have you given the app permissions to access the WiFi network and possibly location?

Vague memories of issues of the above.

turning wifi off and on again on my phone always fixes this issue for me.

Mine works, but often have to restart the app to get it do so. Just wish it would work as soon as you walk in range to the home wifi it auto switches over..

TX200 The most annoying part of the whole thing is that the app does work at times. Tried turning WiFi off / on, restarting mobile, remove and reinstall app etc etc etc.

I have to restart the app each time when i come home in order for it to recognise i am now on my own wifi.

If your inverter changed IP, this can cause the App to get stuck trying to connect to the old IP address.

For best fastest and mst reliable, set the Inverter IP static in your ISP's router. Sometimes called DHCP reservation)

I've been having this problem today. Its not happened before. Sometimes its worked today and sometimes it wont connect. There's also several gaps in the app data bar graphs where its showing no generation at all from my solar to either home, grid or battery. I know this wasn't correct as the lights on the inverter where showing activity and the smart energy meter was not showing grid usage.

My app energy graph for the day is only showing 5.96 kwh of generation but the web dashboard is showing 11.3kwh generation today.

Extra info:
Looking closer at the web dashboard there is some oddities there also. Between 09;49 to 12;37 there's a completely straight but angled upwards line where you cannot get any data when you hover the mouse over it. Times before and after you can get data. Something was obviously going on (solar functioning) because the battery was at 42% at 09;39 and 60% at 12;37 when you can mouse over the data again.

That's the portal joining two data points together. For the period between, the inverter data was not being received by the portal. The inverter was likely working just fine, but for whatever reason, the connection to the portal was down for the period.
