Displaying of App on Older Devices

Hi Paul,

Please find below a screenshot of your App on my Samsung Galaxy J5. As you can see on this device (which probably has a lower screen resolution than more modern devices), the upper window/pane is not fully displayed, so I am unable to see the battery voltage (and temp?). More importantly, I cannot see the link to the additional battery information pages, because they are being truncated. I was able to see it when the last update was released, but then something changed......

I'm assuming this is something to do with the display scaling/minimum sizes.

So, not urgent but quite annoying. I hope you might be able to resolve this in your next App update, perhaps?

TheDragon (GivEnergy) Talking of older devices, I am not sure an iPhone 8 is that old - still supported by Apple at the moment. Even though the iPhone runs the latest IoS 16.3.1 the app hangs when switching between accounts. I have a three-phase domestic system with three AC3s each hooked up to a 9.5kw battery. When first I loaded the app on my iPad it hung on that too on switching. I deleted the app on the iPad and by chance re-installed the then latest version – 3.1.28. That works fine on the iPad (also running IOS16.3.1) now. Will the next version deal with this issue on my iPhone or will I have to upgrade my iPhone (reluctantly)?

Samsung J5 isn't really that old, I think it runs Android 9?

My alternative monitor app should work on Android 5 and later, and will show you the battery level. Dark mode is only available from Android 10 on.
