Octopus Eco7 tariff BST clock change

Octopus have confirmed to me that the cheap rate time slot will change by 1 hour.
what was 00.30 to 07.30 will become 01.30 to 08.30 when the clocks move forward an hour this weekend.

Lets hope the give energy system updates to the new time better than last October.

I have inputted all the required details and mine has returned 33p per kWh rather than the Economy 7 rate. Who's issue is that, GE or Octopus?

That's interesting... I queried the same thing with Octopus this morning and Stella said the Eco7 window doesn't change! Anyone?

Octopus Eco7 stays on GMT all year, so could be described as not changing, and remains aligned with the sun at it's highest point at midday.

It is us that change all our other clocks between GMT and BST twice a year.

In theory if you kept to GMT all year round, it doesn't change, but as all clocks etc change by one hour, you have to change the charge times in the givenergy system.
I went through all this last October and had 3 attempts at Octopus before they finally said what actually happens.

RichardF Just got this in an email and a text message from EDF:

I know some suppliers keep the same hours irrespective of daylight savings hours, but evidently not EDF and not Octopus.
