Hi, I've just signed up for the Octoous Agile tariff (incoming). I've set up the smart tariff card on the portal but am confused by the automations. Can anyone explain what they do and if I should set them or just use the inverter settings.
There is stand alone battery - hold until peak time, standalone battery - eco mode, solar and battery, and off ( which I think ive worked out!)

Thanks, I did work it out, but when I tried one it didn't seem to do what I expected. I've decided just to go with setting the inverter manually.
I’ve been playing with this over the last two days. I think there is a bug with the solar and battery mode version. Has anyone else tried this and got it working?
The bug for me is that it schedules discharge and doesn’t store power in the battery it simply discharges everything to the grid! Completely useless, and waste!
Yes, I’ve tried this and left feedback with GE that hasn’t been answered. For me every night the automation set itself to charge when it was cheap and discharge between 16:00 & 07:00 to meet home demand. If I changed this to dynamic discharge, it would change it back every night. The big problem is it didn’t meet home demand, it just dumped everything back to the grid do the battery was flat in the morning. It would be great if they could sort this out because I believe this automation that takes in to account the weather would save me looking at it everyday.
As you can see, mine was similar. Had to delete the smart tariff otherwise it would set itself up again every night.

You will need to register and it takes about 24hrs to get setup
I charge off peak for 3 hours and do a 2hr max discharge at 16:00 - don't set set any battery % values as they seem to stay stuck in system, just 4% min.
I know if battery is full at 16:00 from sun top up, then I will be at circa 50% after 2 hours to get me through to 02:00 again.

(9.5-5.2)/9.5 = 45% left
