I had my GE system installed Sept last year, it worked perfect till mid Nov when I started getting a jump in battery charge level from roughly 60% to 100% about once a week. From min Nov to about mid Feb I rarely got to 100% charge with the sun but I was getting the jump to 100% about once a week. Starting about mid Feb with the longer days my battery started getting to 100% more regularly with the sun and the SOC jumps have disappeared. Just wondering how many others have had their SOC jumps fixed by the brighter longer days.

Sunlight Mine is the other SoC jump from x% to 0%. I know if I let my battery discharge to sub 30% (possibly more) it would crash to 0%.

chris_p That has never happened with my battery, it has always discharged evenly down to 4% without a jump. Even after a jump up to 100% I would always get a full even discharge down to 4%.

Had my gen1 hybrid 5kw inverter and 8.2kwh battery added in Sept as well and have been seeing similar behaviour. Over the winter where I haven't charged it to 100% very often it seems to forget how full it is and when it got fully charged it jumped from 60-70% to 100%. My brother has a similar setup (but 5.2kwh battery), once his jumped 25% to 100% in 5mins!

Now I'm fully charging at least once a week it seems to know where it is more.
Fortunately I've not seen the drop to 0% issue with mine.
