Hi ive just had 12 385w panels a givenergy hybrid inverter plus 2.6kw battery, generation meter, no smart meter, commisioned monday and seems to be running well, its set on eco mode, ive been keeping a daily record of grid meter readings, generation today, consumpsion today and export total even though im not getting payed for any electricity i export, do any of you with experience no why when the battery gets to 100% it sends some power back to the grid and to my house and some power from the grid to the house? in the evening when theres no sun

These systems cannot react instantly to changes in your house load, so there is always a small amount of power flowing in directions that seem illogical. Quite normal, unless it lasts for a while >30s or if the value is high.

iggy It'll be worth getting a SEG tariff sooner rather than later because it'll compensate you for any generation you export and it'll mean that you have all the paperwork you need to have from your installer.
