How do i stop exporting to the grid when my battery is not full?

Gmann Are you producing more solar than the speed your battery can charge at?

Example if you are generating 4kw pv even with a HY5 inverter and 9.5 battery only 3.6kw can go into the battery. The remaining 0.4kw has to go to your home or the grid.

Gmann where are you seeing this and how much are you exporting? can you share an image of your power graph?

This thread seems to describe what I am seeing. 2 x 8.2 kWh batteries, one at 94 percent, the second one 98 percent a short while agoo, but the BMS is showing zero(!), solar generating 1.4kW all of which is being exported.
Battery storage system not doing its job! It has been working very well until the last couple of days when quite long spells of 0 have been appearing on pack 2.

As well as 0% soc it's also claiming the battery temperature is 0C which we know is erroneous!

Oh, and the battery status light is red

That sounds like either a dead battery or the cable between the two batteries has failed.

Try powering both batteries off and on and see if the lights go green.

Otherwise its a call to givenergy support
