Has anyone renewed their Go / Go Faster without owning an EV?
Our is due in the summer but I'm wondering if anyone has renewed without hassle for another year?

I did join Go before ordering my EV, no questions asked. Been on Go since October. But I was on Agile and they switched me with a simple phone call. No questions asked. But there current wording is a bit more direct, even having an EV on order is not enough to join Go now. I guess they have the right to ask for evidence and for those who can not prove they have an EV they can move you to a different tariff. Still worth trying though.

I'm a net exporter of around 1500-2000KWH so there is an option to jump onto agile in March and make a small fortune but Go is probably fairer on Octopus, me getting cheap energy and not using any during peak. They get all that I cant handle for under 5p compared to the market average of 18p.
I don't fancy getting to July/august and then they say I cant continue.

Is Givenergy in talks with suppliers to make something like tesla tariffs for battery owners? That would be nicer and fair.

Nothing to stop you going onto agile outgoing now? But you can't be on that and "go".

hamilton I'm a just renewing at the moment they have not asked for any proof that I have an EV.

Coincidentally (unless it was you 😀 ) this very question has been asked this morning on the Facebook page Octopus Go, Go Faster and Intelligent Octopus chat. Overwhemingly the answers were they don't check or ask for documentation.

THALL I think Go Faster is a different beast to just Go. It's cheaper with more timed options.

Go is only 00:30-04:30. My go faster is 20:30 - 00:30 moving to 21:30 cos the earlier slot is being discontinued.

You should check.
