Hello.

For some reason the portal is giving me gateway timeouts this morning and I cant get to my dashboard.
The app version seems to be working somewhat, switching between power graph, Energy Graph and battery graph takes a very long time and energy graph when it does finally load up tells me "there was no data for the date range" (todays date, previous days showing fine)

I'm not sure if this has been caused by Bulb changing my energy charges last night? A few days back they sent me an email saying that they were changing my rates and times for cheap rate to move it inline with octopus go tariffs as they're being taken over. (apparently they'll be moving me to octopus altogether when they get round to it). I changed my off peak charge times to match the new times they informed me of, although it seems I've been charged peek rate tariff for what should have been off peek last night. Checking my meter I can see that they've switched me over to the new prices as they've gone up. (no indication as to if there's a off peek , but i assume that will only show during those times. (looks like I'm going to have to get up in early hours to run some tests...joy)

Got the same problem/errors here. The blue indicator lights on inverter are showing house drawing from battery as expected. App reporting the same, but won’t communicate with server either. I guess something is happening at Giv.

Probably the cleaner wanting to hoover!!!

Thank you for the reply.

So probably nothing to do with bulb then..

502/504 (actually any errors in the 500 range) mean it's "their problem".

Now we'll see what cover GivEnergy have over the weekend for fixing their online services!

Probably their version of an April's Fool. Although we were probably expecting it

I think its not totally back up. Mine is missing my export tarriff and some of the data. But hopefully that will come back online soon.

My inverter did not receive the Octo R&D scheduled 02:00-05:00 charge signal last night.
I don't know if that is because Octo R&D didn't send it or GE didn't receive it OR even if my router might have been offline for some reason, but I have really strong wi-fi in the house and SkyQ box was working

Thank you Lads for submitting this post. I thought it was just me, as I have no energy data bar-graph on my apps as from 00.00 this morning. Everything else works, and historical data perfectly accessible. Maybe it is an April Fool

Same here Steve

For me it looks like Giv went down at midnight and hasn't come back. I've got no data since midnight at all... there was also a 4hr gap on the 30th that I believe was planned.

I can see live data... but nothing is being recorded at all

It is now back, but with a gap between 03.30 and 08.00. Better something than nothing, I suppose!

Server issue, All resolved.

We were alerted at 06:26 server was down, Devs were right on it.

TheDragon (GivEnergy)
Hi
My Octo R&D scheduler appeared not to issue the 02:00-05:00 charge commands.
Do the commands go from Octo to GE to my inverter?
Is this an Octo problem by not issuing
A GE server issue by not receiving and then not issuing
Or my inverter being offline because of some problem with my BB or wifi (I don't think it is my end but I will ask just in case I need to fix something)

Thank you TheDragon! Very pleased that someone is working for us even on a Saturday.

There are chunks of data missing from My Inverter - Meter Data. It wasn't just a single outage then recover.
Normally my logged data is reliably every nominal 5 minutes, with the odd single value missed each day.
Obviously all the graphs have sections of straight line to join up the data that is present.

All times in BST.
01:22 - 1 missed log point.
03:13-03:38 - 4 missed logs.
03:48-04:23 - 6 missed.
04:23-05:09 - 8 missed.
05:09-05:24 - 2 missed.
05:24-06:04 - 7 missed.
06:04-06:19 - 2 missed.
06:24-06:44 - 3 missed.
06:44-07:54 - 13 missed.
07:54-08:28 - 6 missed.
Followed by a period with 9 x logged data every 10 seconds.
08:34-08:45 - 1 missed.

Simon_C Same here, erratic graph etc, your explaination makes sense.
