Same here. It is now back on. This happened two days ago and I believe the givenergy server was “down”, whatever that means. You will not be able to recover the data.

This time wasnt our servers. But back end communications.

We are looking how to prevent this, even the cloud has issues

Thank you TheDragon. I see that also Vodafone also has problems this morning, but just coincidence, maybe!.

I had the same. Fortunately Home Assistant was up and recording the data. It would be nice if there was a way for us to retrospectively fill in missing data like this, unless there is some way for GivEnergy to fix it, assuming the data was recorded somewhere.

TheDragon (GivEnergy) out of interest who does GE use for hosting servers? Is it AWS?

My dongle transmits to a server registered to Ali-cloud (run by Alibaba). Looks like the server might be located physically in Germany. The front end portal runs on AWS.

my inverter is only sending data to: comms.givenergy.cloud which translates to amazon aws eu-west-2 which is if I'm not mistaken Amazon's London DC

Data caching is coming. I cannot say when, how or in what form. But i can say it is in development
