GivEnergy app - local monitoring settings - "IP Addresses"

Does anyone know what the "Settings / Local Monitoring / IP Addresses" box is for?
I assume (but do not "know") that it is meant to have the IP address(s) of your inverter(s) in it - assuming your inverter has a fixed address, that is.
