Why would my system sent powers to the grid when the battery isn’t fully charged…? Shouldn’t any power not being consumed go to the battery if it’s not fully charged…?

is it happening more than 20-30 seconds? Usually there is bursts of that but only because the battery takes some time to ramp up and down

pacemaker thanks for your reply….seems to happen fairly regularly….I’ve been topping up the battery to 100%on off peak overnight but didn’t last night…obviously so the improving solar can do this…overall I’m happy with the system…just trying to get the best out of it…👍

ONEIL best thing to do is look at the energy graphs and see how much it's actually consuming. You'll often see power coming in and out when you look at the screen above, but it's micro-bursts. Energy graph (3rd tab) will actually show you hour by hour how much power it's consuming or exporting - hopefully that is tiny/small.

Even if I never need any power from grid I end up consuming 1kWh a day with these little bursts on and off.
