Baychattan, I will check for that message as I have been chasing Octopus about the BST timings for Eco 7 since 29/3/2023.
I followed the Octopus FAQ on Eco 7 and found a statement indicating that the timings of 0030-0730 remain at GMT, so our clocks used for timed operation such as car charging need to be changed to 0130-0830 BST. This did not mention any differences based on type of meter, as I expect a dumb 2 rate meter will stay on GMT whereas a SMETS2 meter may well update it's own time via the DCC network connection or similar.
Having run a car charging session that finished at 0815 BST on 28/3/2023 after the clocks changed, I found an extra unexpected count of 3 kWh on the day register of my SMETS2 meter, so flagged it up to Octopus and am still waiting for the reply. In the meantime I have been programming car charges for 0130-0730 BST, effectively Eco 6.
My beef with them is that as the supplier and seller of the Eco 7 tariff, they should be telling me exactly what times the tariffs apply, and it not be me telling them after experimentation and checking of bills after the event.
