Apologies, if this has been covered else where I did search but it wasn't clear which may be my lack of understanding.
I am a bit confused about the whole Givenergy:
- advertised 100% DOD (because of the battery size being over spec to allow 100% DOD) i.e. 8.2Kwh
versus - Operational capacity (in the knowledge base https://kb.givenergy.cloud/article.php?id=10) which defines maximum battery yield of 6.5Kwh.
When I look at the real world data on my system ( looking at days where we have maximal sun generation so no battery use while charging):
- In August/September 2022 I was routinely seeing > 8Kwh per day output from the battery (on days where we had maximal sun i.e. no battery use while charging)
versus - In April 2023 I am routinely seeing total battery supply to home of around 6Kwh per day output
So what should I expect i.e. 8.2Kwh available each day after 100% charge or 6.56Kwh per the knowledge base?
If the answer is 8.2Kwh. Then is the battery calibrated capacity and hence available DOD changing and needs re-calibrating or am I missing something?
