So
I'm trying to keep a track on how much our system is saving us. I've tried to get accurate data from the Energy Graph widget and from the app. I've also been using the reports but these seem to collate the exact same information.

Trouble is, our WiFi is a bit shonky at the moment, so the inverter keeps losing connection with our Vodafone(POS) router. I think I'm getting interference on 2.4Ghz from our neighbours router, and the damned Vodafone router wont auto-reselect a better channel, no option for manual scanning/preference.
But that's by the by and I'll get a solution eventually.
The problem it's causing is that the energy graph and app are regularly missing data from not capturing data at every 5 min interval, some are being missed. The graph may read solar production at 5kWh when the PV total on Meter Data, shows 9kWh
So I'm trying to use the Meter Data instead.
I'm having problems trying to figure out how much of our solar production has gone to the home directly instead of the battery/export.
I think I'm managing to get a figure for 'Solar to Home' but it only seems to add up if I factor in that the battery discharge is about 85-90% of the actual recorded figure, due to losses. It also doesn't help me to discern battery export vs direct solar export.
Anyone got any suggestions?

Salibaba the Givenergy energy data are always going to be a good indicator rather than an accurate value. The EM115 meters are good but as you point out the data logging isn’t always reliable. For a single inverter installation, you’ll get more sense than one with dual inverters. They are working on improving accuracy and the portal and reports are good, if not quite correct.

The figures for the end of each day might help to give a good indication of generation, consumption and export. Your energy supply meter is the de facto standard for actual import and export. Looking over a period of time such as a month, quarter or year will help to work things out. You’d have to work in kWh though as the unit price changes. Bottom line is that we used to import about 6,000kWkpa. Since our install, we’ve bought an EV, saving about £700pa on petrol and our total import is about 1,600kWh, mostly off-peak in the winter to supply house and EV; the rest of the year supplied from PV. We know we are getting a good return on our investment with a pay back in about 6 years but with daily charges at 50p(ish), we’re still paying about £35pm on direct debit. If we played the off-peak import vs Peak export game, we might do better but we are happy with keeping a lid on costs.

Use the total energy generated and use that to calculate daily/weekly/monthly totals - the calculated totals on the portal for the daily, weekly etc, use the 15minute data and add it up - which would be fine if you have a solid connection, but any drops at the time of logging the 15minute data will reduce the total. Unless that has changed in the last week or so!

After staring blankly at the inverter raw data tables, the monthly report data and Energy Graph widget data, I'm pretty much resounding myself to the fact its not perfect.
Twas only after posting, I realised I'm a tool, and hadn't even typed the header correctly without spellchecking it *facepalm.
The data has been fairly reliable up to now to provide a rolling comparison month on month / YOY, with the odd powercut, phone line cut out & odd bug here and there not causing too much of a skew.
I'll just need to try and get a mesh system and move my router AGAIN. I've tried using LAN plugs with a WiFi access point using a cloned SSID, but not sure if it's staying connected all the time. Most of our other kit in the house seems to be happy on 5Ghz.
