It’s 10:30 pm and I notice that my battery is at 41% and on idle. It seems to have been there since about 8pm.
I have my system set to Eco with a charge up to 50% in the cheap night rate 2am - 3am. I’m on Octopus Flux.
I don’t use Octopus R&D or any other automation.
Any ideas?
I tried an inverter restart but it’s not had any effect.

Checking overnight. Battery charged to 50%, as set, then started feeding the house again. It stopped, and the grid took over, when the battery reached 41% SOC.

It looks as if 41% is being used as a floor? I've looked carefully at the inverter settings and there is nothing in there which would cause this.

Check the reserve option. Even if it doesn’t say 41%, try changing the value slightly and save it.

If it’s not that, try resetting to defaults from the same settings area. Then make sure eco is on and setup your timed charge as required.

If that doesn’t sort it, it could be the cut off value which is being removed in future firmware. Not sure you can properly reset from the portal. It’s in the advanced part (remote control), but a call, email or web chat to GivEnergy may be best.

What TX200 said. Also the cutoff value either of these will act as a floor

Ubarrow sorted.

Cutoff was 40%
I've changed it for you to 4%
