My Inverter card - "Energy Today" value... what is that a measure of?

So when you have any other card expanded, the mini 'My Inverter' card says "Energy Today", I cannot work out what that is a measure of?

#2 THALL

For me it seems to show my input from the grid.

THALL Mine shows 2.2kWh at the moment and grid is 0.2kWh (battery lasted until 8am)

PV: 1.1kWh
Consumption: 2.6kWh
Grid In/Out: 0.2/0.0kWh
Battery In/Out: 0.6/2.3kWh

I have no idea then. It doesn't match any of my numbers now.

Is it maybe energy out from the inverter, rather than the battery? My 'discharge out' from battery today is 2.3kWh and on the inverter card it's 2.0kWh which would be about 85% or so efficiency.

Mine is now 3.1kWh vs

PV: 5.3kWh
Consumption: 3.1kWh
Grid In/Out: 0.2/0.2kWh
Battery In/Out: 4.2/2.3kWh

Mine says 3.2 still

PV 5.3
consumption 6
grid in/out 3.3 0.5
batt charge discharge 5.1 3.8

Mine matches PV Gen for the day? 13.5KWh PV / "Energy Today" 13.5KWh
Have you refreshed the page lately? It doesn't seem to Auto Update as new PV data comes in so that may be why it doesn't match?

hoggy Ctrl + f5 to be sure and no change. I will log out and in.

UPDATE no change from logging out and in

hoggy Same as @THALL - CTRL F5 and I tried logging out and back in. Does not match any other value on the dashboard.

hoggy Is that on a hybrid inverter? Maybe it's different for an AC...

#12 hoggy

judgepd Yes it's a Hybrid 5. Maybe it's broken on AC then

#13 judgepd

I don't think it's broken, I think it shows/means something different on an AC inverter. I still think it's energy output by the inverter. On a DC inverter that would match solar, but on an AC inverter it's just what's supplied from the battery.

Or something like that...

#14 THALL

judgepd Looks like you are right. The card just updated after my ASHP sucked up a load of battery.

Mine seems to be within 200w of my consumption, so maybe there is a delay between the two values?

Now the sun has gone down my values are changing and I'm still convinced that on an AC inverter it's that value is inverter output. My battery discharge today is now 4.5kWh and the inverter 'energy today' figure is 3.9kWh so still 86% of the battery figure.

Yeah I would say mine is consumption + export to grid.
