Had this error message on the app, last couple of days. Internet seems fine , so not sure what the issue is ?? Any suggestions how to resolve ?
Thanks
Local search failed, no home connections were found
Louhutchy If you know the IP address of the inverter then use the Hamburger | Settings | Local Monitoring to set the app to look directly for the inverter. If this does not work make sure your app device and the inverter are on the same subnet (IP Addresses much match first three elements, i.e. 192.168.1.nnn). If they are but it still does not connect 'Home' then open your browser on your device and type the IP address of the inverter in the address bar. If you get a log in request then they can see each other and you will need to look at deeper issues.
This video on Youtube is good and solved my similar issue.

Often the issue is nothing to do with the internet and everything to do with the local signal from the WiFi Dongle to your WiFi Router in your home.
Ours ran fine for 3 months then produced what you are reporting.
GE diagnosed as loss of signal. I pointed out that nothing whatsoever had changed on my equipment or locally (no one moved house, didn't detect any new networks, WiFi signal strength and channels all appeared unchanged)
I had a spare BT Smart Hub Business Router that I could easily fire up and installed about 2 metres from where the dongle is located in the garage.
Since then have had no more issues.
