Hi Thall - I agree. I poked my head above the parapet in the "New GivEnergy Inverter & BMS Firmware Beta Testing Chat" thread here: BobB. It didn't get any traction. I did raise a feature request, but most folk seem to be happy letting their house batteries just get on with it.
While we still have the SOC bug we have to fully exercise the battery occasionally to retain access to the top and bottom portions. Once the SOC bug is fixed there would be a reason to be kinder to the battery.
However, with tariffs like Octopus Flex, folk may still want to max out their batteries and sell back.
