Solar Production drops as soon as battery is fully charged.

Hi all,
My system is as follows

1. GE 5KW G2 Hybrid Inverter
2. 2 x 9.5KWh G2 batteries
3. 2.4KW string south facing. - no shading
4. 2.4KW string west facing. - no shading

Recently i noticed that as soon as my battery is fully charged the solar production drops of a cliff, e.g goes from 4KW across both strings straight down to say 400W and nothing is being exported to the grid.
I can "UNLOCK" the solar generation again by turning on the cooker or kettle and within 10 seconds the solar generation jumps back up to 4+kw.

I do have HASS.IO but i have not configured any customisations as its a relatively new install so im still getting used to the system, Is this a known bug or something i should report to GE.?

If i restart the inverter through the portal the solar generation jumps straight back up from say 400W to way over 1.5KW which then makes it start charging the battery again as well as exporting at a much higher rate to the grid.
Then 5 minutes later when the battery is full solar generation drops of a cliff and goes back to 400-500W to meet the house load.
No change in skies, sunlight, clouds shading low flying aircraft etc.

This is I think I known bug. It's happened to me too and others (@welshrat) and there are some other posts on it.

I think it is scheduled to be fixed with a new firmware release (but I get a bit lost with some of the terminology).

There was another suggestion that it was linked to the grid voltage (i.e.grid voltage too high to allow export and so the system has to limit generation once the battery is full until the demand increases).

On my system, this actually seems to have stopped happening so much now. When it did happen, it would slowly start to increase generation and allow export after a while, though I consistently missed out on a couple of prime hours of production which is most annoying.

I would.sometimes do a force discharge to grid via the app for an hour or so to achieve export (depends on your tariff whether this is worth it)

Thanks all i did check my grid voltage and its around 246-248 volts.
I have reported it and GE confirmed its a known bug so ill guess ill wait and see what happens.
