As the title, is there anyone running HA type automations with the pre-release firmware ( givenergy_modbus/GivTCP/givenergy_local ?)

Can you please confirm or deny if there are any breaking changes or changes of registers on the new firmware. As the firmware was a bottom up build, wanted to check if there was any reuse/re purposing of registers.( Or even changes of behaviour, particularly with Timed Export/Timed Discharge)

For the battery firmware I think (from other discussions on here) the only new thing is has an OCV recalibration happened.

Until the inverter firmware is updated, there's no where for that flag to be saved.

@Britkat (givTCP) writer doesn't seem to be on these forums much (guessing based on lack of replies when he's tagged). Maybe the GE Facebook groups are a better place to reach him? Not sure.

TX200 Thanks for the reply. My initial thoughts when I asked the question was more about would existing integrations and HA automations continue to work. I hadn't got as far as will new features be supported 😉.
If dragon and others are continuing to use givtcp etc, and their inverters haven't melted when they set the old registers, I guess it all going to just work .... Probably 😁

not so much the BMS.

Yes for the inverter, 1st up is scheduled pause, which Ive been discussing with Brikkak today how to implement
