I ran the firmware update last night and left it running. This morning I see the update failed. When I check the Battery it is now completely offline nothing shows in the portal and the unit itself has no lights.
I have tried restarting the inverter from the portal, but this has made no difference.
What do I need to do to get my battery back online?
Battery Offline after failed firmware update
Try pressing the little black button on the battery front to turn it on.
Check the dc breaker (usually green) is in the up position too
If all else fails, email givsupport for more advice. They may provide some files to put onto the battery as per the manual update process described on the kb site
Thanks, that has got it back online after another inverter restart.
Looks like its on the latest firmware now, battery is showing charging at 294W, So I guess its doing the calibration cycle now? Can't see any confirmation anywhere.
It should show notifications in the app menu and also on the web portal. Not sure how quickly they appear though.
Omission Thanks, that has got it back online after another inverter restart.

What battery firmware number are you now seeing please?

@Omission charging at 294w, indicates the BMS is not communicating and the inverter is treating it as a lead acid battery.
I would need your inverter serial number to stand any chance of finding your inverter
Now Seeing Firmware 3012
Inverter Serial is EA2302G177
Once the PV was providing excess above the house load charging did increase, but when battery hit 66% it then jumped to 100% and produced solar dropped to just covering house load (No Export)
When I ran an appliance the battery drained to 92% the PV Power jumped from 300W to 2.5KW until battery was re-charged then dropped back.

Omission OK, no calibration was done. Ive set it off now
Yep, I can see the notification that it has started.
Thank you
